Piano Bar Sing-Along
Oct 16 @ 7:00 pm – 10:45 pm

So you fancy yourself something of a singer… in the shower at least. You hit some of the local karaoke nights, but you’re looking for something a little different.  Maybe you have a whole group of folks that want to sing to the same song.  Maybe you just like to sit back and watch as everyone else sings their little hearts out.

>>Join the Piano Bar Sing-Along
Facebook Group<<

Piano Bar Sing-Along at The Green Room is the unique musical event for all those scenarios (and more). It’s a FREE event, and the full bar is open as well. The festivities start at 7pm generally on the first Thursday of each month.

This once a month insanity that’s been happening for over 3 years. The First Thursday of the Month is your excuse to go out and have a great time! For those who haven’t been – this is a fun night out each month for you and your craziest (or not so crazy) friends to kick back and enjoy hearing and singing along with your favorite songs from over the years! It’s a FREE event and has something for everyone.

Show Format:

Provide your requests with Song, Artist, and your name (and tip, if you feel so inclined) to Dan and we will get this slotted! All songs will be looked up and have words provided on the wall sized movie screen to sing along with. Grab one of the 2 mics and go all rock star! Or just sit back and sing along from your seat! Songs submitted w/tips will magically find their way to the top of the pecking order!

Remember, we’re out for fun and singing along. The piano man reserves the right to veto songs that aren’t sing-a-longy (yes, it’s a word) enough… or that he doesn’t know how to play (extremely rare). FUN FOR ALL! ALL FOR FUN!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Check out Piano Bar Sing-Along on the
first Thursday of every month.

Green Room Live presents: Feed the Dog
Oct 19 @ 8:30 pm – 11:00 pm
Green Room Live presents: Feed the Dog
Join us on Friday, October 19th at 8:30 for this stellar show of jam-rock-grass music!

One more in a series of Green Room Live events, at DePere’s home for provisions and performances,
The Green Room!

About Feed The Dog:

Feed the Dog is an eclectic and action-packed, high-energy, jam-rock-grass band. The Appleton based group features masterfully crafted fiddle, Kottke like finger pickin’ acoustic six and twelve string guitar, funky bass lines, and percussive soul. The band started in July of 2015 and has been relentless playing festivals, theaters, and clubs alongside regional and national touring acts with Freshmen album “Sheep”,
.
Tenderloin is a timeless work of art that displays Feed The Dog’s wide range of talent, a true testament to original music. The 9 track album was recorded at Hyde Street Studios, a studio that produced many monumental recordings by groups such as the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, CSNY, Santana, CCR, Herbie Hancock, and many others. On the flip side, a great concert is a chance to tell a story, that, as it transpires, becomes a story unto itself. Come join, as all music lovers are welcome to be apart of both the studio and live experience of the Feed The Dog story!

“When folks come together and are true to themselves and each other, a sound is often created that’s unique and exciting. Feed the Dog has achieved that and their energetic and funky grooves lend themselves to dancing and merriment, while their lyrical exploration takes the listener on a journey through life’s ups and downs.”
– Adam Greuel, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades

“Feed The Dog defies categorization – that’s what makes their music so cool. Their brand of original music excites live audiences and radio listeners alike. In 40 years of programming radio, I can tell you that it is only once in awhile that something comes along that is both so original and infectious. Feed The Dog is one of those rare finds. If listener reaction is any indication – these guys have a long bright road ahead. We’re big fans, and Feed The Dog’s Tenderloin only takes it to a new level. They are defining the new cool in original music.”
– Rob Moore, 91.1 The Avenue

Green Room Live presents: Copper Box
Oct 20 @ 8:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Green Room Live presents: Copper Box !
Join us for this high energy blues/swamp/zydeco show on Saturday, October 20th, 8:30PM in the theatre! No cover!

One of many in our series of upcoming Green Room Live events, at DePere’s home for provisions and peformances,
The Green Room!

About Copper Box:

Danny Jerabek (accordion, keys, percussion, vocals, cornet, sousaphone, etc.) and his wife, Michelle (Thull) Jerabek (bari saxophone, vocals, guitar, percussion, etc.) both started performing with their family on stage at an early age. Once in their teens, they crossed paths again and eventually realized they were meant to be together. They started writing songs and formed a band and the rest is history! The current line up includes the highly regarded talents of Dan Cable (drums, percussion) & Drew Hicks (bass, vocals, & guitar).

Danny Jerabek was given an accordion from his grandfather at age 9 and taught himself how to play it. Inspired by Steve (Esteban) Jordan, “the Jimi Hendrix of Tejano Accordion” he began to “rock out” and improvise –thinking a little more, “outside the box.” He has been featured at the International Accordion Festival in San Antonio, TX and the National Accordion Festival in Houston, TX and the Cotati Accordion Festival in Cotati, CA, and has been featured on national TV. In 2015, Danny accepted an Artist Endorsement deal with Hohner Accordions, INC.

For over 16 years the band has been pushing to keep this band on the road with the help of family, friends and fans. Copper Box has performed small, intimate shows to large, main stage festivals nationwide with artist such as:

The Little River Band
Buckwheat Zydeco
Little Feat
Little Big Town
Peter Frampton
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Lou Gramm
Marcia Ball
C.J. Chenier
Brave Combo
Terrance Simien
W.C. Clark
The Doobie Brothers
Los Lonely Boys
REO Speedwagon

Band of the Year 2002 (WPHF)

Coverville Podcast commented….”Out of all the cover songs I’ve heard, I’ve never had so much feedback from our listeners of your remake of The Pink Floyd Polka (Comfortably Numb),” which just scratches the surface of Copper Box.

As one music journalist commented, “(Copper Box)…as refreshing as a cool spring breeze blowing new life into a stuffy room…worth checking out!”

Wisconsin Blues Society describes Copper Box as “…one of the favorites of the Fox Valley Blues Festival 2004. This hot Zydeco Swamp/Blues Rock outfit with a great baritone and tenor sax gal and a hot accordion man. This group cooks and swings with some of the best Zydeco-influenced groups I’ve seen anywhere in the country.”

From Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI to Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA to Cotati Accordion Festival in Cotati, CA to the International Accordion Festival in San Antonio, TX, we are sure to catch your ears listening, your feet tapping and your spirit lifted at a Copper Box show!

Fan Club Comedy Presents: David Zoe Leon and Sonal Aggarwal
Nov 7 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Fan Club Comedy Presents: David Zoe Leon and Sonal Aggarwal @ The Green Room | De Pere | Wisconsin | United States

Fan Club Comedy at the Green Room is pleased to present David Zoe Leon and Sonal Aggarwal!

These two are so fun we couldn’t decide who should headline so we’ve got them co-headlining!

Sonal Aggarwal is a world traveling performer. Raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, she left the country after college to travel the world. In March of 2015 while living in India as an artist and emcee, her life took a dramatic turn with a motorcycle accident that led her back to Chicago. During her rehabilitation, she realized that she was meant to do stand up comedy.

Now, Aggarwal is one of the hardest working – and most hilarious – comics in Chicago, appearing in multiple shows often on the same night. “Congrats On Your Success” and “Hidden Comedy Show” are two of her regular gigs, and she can be seen on Netflix’s “Easy” as well as the new web-series “Code-Switched.”

David Leon is a Chicago native who began his comedy career in Madison, WI. David has shared the stage with many talented performers such as Emo Phillips, TJ Miller, James Adomian and Joey Diaz. David Leon’s style of comedy, best described by the Onion A.V. club, “plays on the yearning sentimentalist…” with a “kid-on-sugar-high stage presence.”With a demented persona and unpredictable topics, David Leon puts on a show that demands intensity and imagination from his audience, all while having a smile on his face and a mustache on his heart.

Host: Kristin Lytie
Kristin has toured and performed in festivals all over North America but thoroughly believes the Midwest is the best! She recently moved back home and has created Fan Club Comedy as a way to bring touring and independent comics to the area.

Topics often revolve around Scott and his interesting personality quirks.

Chad and Mike hit the stage (generally) the first Saturday of each month around 11pm (following the late ComedyCity improv show). Except this month, it’s Friday July 6th.  Because we can.  That’s why.  It’s free, so that’s a bonus.
