Friday, October 15th

7:30pm Show ($15) – Note that unlike our regular Friday Family show, this show may contain content not suitable for younger children.

Two Busses:  A completely improvised two bus show featuring Rachel Ware (Omaha, NE) and Tim Overton (Des Moines, IA). Never the same format and always fun!

Ross Childs: Plays songs to entertain and soothe the procrastinator’s soul.  “I try to keep it as simple as possible and allow the stories to do their work. I also use a looper, which is a lot of fun!”

ComedyCity DePere: The signature show of the host venue, ComedyCity has been entertaining Wisconsin crowds with short-form improv for well over 30 years.

9:45pm Show ($15)

Haunted: Improvised Ghost Hunters: (Chicago, IL) This is a long-form narrative tv-style improv honoring (and satirizing) common tropes and archetypes found in paranormal investigative television shows. Haunted was created by and is produced by Amber Nettles.

Community Ed:  (Minneapolis, MN) An improv duo you wish you were hanging with.  They improvise through a mono-scene that will make you laugh, and at times feel the angst of the character’s dysfunctional relationship.

Monkey Business Institute: (Madison, WI) Made up of over 35 uniquely talented people who have spent years, if not decades growing intimately aware of what makes great improv tick, and what makes one laugh!

11pm- Close
GBIF Afterglow Party – All are welcome!

——————————-

Saturday, October 16th

7:30pm Show ($15)

Magical Lying Hour:  A show of intimate moments and suprising turns.  In each scene, an improvisior is paired iwth an actor who performs a pre-rehearsed scene. Although the actors cannot change their lines they must respond to their improvising partner through non-verbal means, and the improvisors find their partners may not always play along with their version of events.  Frequently funny, often heartbreaking, always memorable, Magical Lying Hour unites two dissimilar performers creating something new that neither of them can quite control.

ComedyCity DePere: The signature show of the host venue, ComedyCity has been entertaining Wisconsin crowds with short-form improv for well over 30 years.

Playtime with Patrick & Preston:  Patrick & Preston proudly present “The Florida Man”. Nobody does it quite like Florida.  Playtime with Patrick & Preston need only a day, a month, and a Florida Man to bring you a scene.

9:45pm Show ($15)

Liquor & Sweatpants:  After the challenging year where COVID-19 canceled their 2020 World Tour, Liquor and Sweatpants makes their triumphant return to live performance in 2021. Catch up with the guys as they discuss the tour that never was and release their newest hits without the $15 drinks and long lines for the bathroom.

I am the Show: The audience picks the movie. The improviser makes up the dialogue, sound effects, and music. No film is safe in this fun, silly, and irreverent skewer of pop (and less than popular) culture.

Three Men & a Lady: Comprised of Mike Eserkaln (Green Bay, WI) , Tim Stoltenberg (Los Angeles, CA) , Ken Goltz (Green Bay, WI), and Linda Taylor (Kansas City, MO), Three Men and a Lady bring years of experience to the stage. It’s not often that these longtime friends get to be in the same place at the same time. Join them for improvised tales with unexpected twists and all too relatable situations.
